国内宠物行业首个碳中和展会在广州举办 引领绿色会展新趋势
广州9月20日电 — 在广州市商务局和生态环境局的共同指导下，2024鸿威世界宠物博览会（简称"世宠会"）于9月20-22日在广州保利世贸博览馆成功举办，成为国内宠物行业首个实现碳中和的展会。
Guangzhou, September 20 — Under the joint guidance of Guangzhou Commerce Bureau and Ecology Environment Bureau, the 2024 Hongwei World Pet Expo was successfully held from September 20-22 at Poly World Trade Center Expo, becoming the first carbon-neutral exhibition in China's pet industry.
广东鸿威国际会展集团负责人表示："我们非常荣幸能成为宠物行业首个实现碳中和的展会。通过与广州碳排放权交易中心合作，我们采取了一系列减排措施，包括90%以上的无纸化票务、95%可回收布展材料等，并通过购买自愿减排量实现碳中和目标。"
The organizer Guangdong Hongwei International Exhibition Group stated: "We're honored to pioneer carbon-neutral practice in the pet industry. By cooperating with Guangzhou Carbon Emissions Exchange, we implemented various emission reduction measures including over 90% paperless ticketing and 95% recyclable booth materials, achieving carbon neutrality through purchasing voluntary emission reductions."

广州市商务局透露，正在修订的《广州市关于促进会展业高质量发展的若干措施》将新增零碳办展扶持政策，包括支持碳核算、碳信用采购和碳中和认证。拟出台的《广州市大型活动碳中和实施指南》将进一步简化碳中和流程。
Guangzhou Commerce Bureau announced that the revised "Measures to Promote High-Quality Development of Guangzhou Exhibition Industry" will include new policies supporting zero-carbon exhibitions, covering carbon accounting, credit purchase and certification. The upcoming "Guangzhou Large-Scale Event Carbon Neutrality Implementation Guide" will streamline the carbon-neutral process.

广州会展业在绿色实践方面一直走在全国前列。自2014年首个"绿色广交会"以来，已建立完善的绿色展位标准体系。广交会展馆ABC区均获国际绿色认证，白云国际会议中心通过光伏项目实现零碳排放。
Guangzhou's exhibition industry has been leading in green practices nationwide. Since the first "Green Canton Fair" in 2014, a comprehensive green booth standard system has been established. The Canton Fair Complex's ABC zones have obtained international green certification, while Baiyun International Convention Center achieved zero emissions through photovoltaic projects.
