LaunchPad App has no access to clipboard

Bug Description

Cannot select text, cannot paste from clipboard.
Ctrl-v doesn't work.
No Right-Click context menu either.
Once fixed, I'll use it again.
But, for now, I'll use Chromium or FireFox.

This is the bug tracker for the Launchpad.net software project collaboration website. I don't think you're talking about the same Launchpad.

When using Launchpad via a browser, it offers to install a LaunchPad app (which I did).
It appears in the launcher (Ubuntu Desktop) - and works - much like from within a browser - except for the clipboard operations.
If the desktop LaunchPad app should have bugs reported in a place other than here, I'd be glad to.
I just need to know where.
