The choice of location reflects the rapid rise and strong growth momentum of Guangdong's cross-border e-commerce.
千百年前，中国丝绸从南海之滨沿着海上丝绸之路走向世界；近十年来，中国制造从粤港澳大湾区通过跨境电商穿越重洋飞向全球。如今，广东跨境电商总量规模稳居全国第一，不仅成为拉动外贸增长的新动能，也成为广东企业、广东制造不惧道阻且长，拥抱全球市场的重要力量。
Thousands of years ago, Chinese silk traveled the world along the Maritime Silk Road from the shores of the South China Sea; in the past decade, Chinese manufacturing has reached global markets through cross-border e-commerce from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Today, Guangdong's cross-border e-commerce ranks first in China, becoming not only a new driver of foreign trade growth but also a vital force enabling Guangdong enterprises and manufacturing to embrace global markets despite challenges.
9年74.6倍增长
74.6-Fold Growth in 9 Years
今年上半年，广东跨境电商进出口达4273.4亿元，占全省外贸总量约10%，有力支撑着外贸第一大省广东的增长大盘。经过多年发展，跨境电商成为我国除一般贸易、加工贸易之外的三大贸易方式之一。2023年，广东跨境电商进出口达8433亿元，是2015年的74.6倍，增长迅猛。
In the first half of this year, Guangdong's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports reached 427.34 billion yuan, accounting for about 10% of the province's total foreign trade, strongly supporting the growth of Guangdong, China's top foreign trade province. After years of development, cross-border e-commerce has become one of China's three major trade modes alongside general trade and processing trade. In 2023, Guangdong's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports reached 843.3 billion yuan, a staggering 74.6 times the 2015 figure.
据商务部门统计，广东外贸在全国占比超过10%，而广东跨境电商占全省外贸总量超过20%，占全国跨境电商进出口比重超过1/3。作为近年来增长最快的外贸方式，广东跨境电商展现出越来越突出的影响力。
According to commerce authorities, Guangdong's foreign trade accounts for over 10% of the national total, while its cross-border e-commerce makes up more than 20% of the province's foreign trade and over one-third of China's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports. As the fastest-growing foreign trade method in recent years, Guangdong's cross-border e-commerce demonstrates increasingly prominent influence.

跨境电商不仅为企业出海带来更通畅的渠道，还通过"小单快返"等供应链体系的创新、数字技术的应用等逐步向上游生产制造环节渗透，形成跨境电商产业链和生态链，赋能传统产业的智能化、数字化转型升级。
Cross-border e-commerce not only provides smoother channels for enterprises going global but also gradually penetrates upstream manufacturing through innovations like "small orders with quick returns" in supply chain systems and digital technology applications, forming cross-border e-commerce industrial and ecological chains that empower intelligent and digital transformation of traditional industries.
江门市贝尔斯顿电器有限公司涉猎跨境电商四年，起初不温不火。但在前年自组运营团队，发力洗地机等高附加值产品后，公司增长迅速。总经理彭海英说："跨境电商提供了更具性价比的渠道，我们有实力和信心到国际舞台竞技。"
Jiangmen Beston Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. has been involved in cross-border e-commerce for four years with initially modest results. However, after establishing its own operations team two years ago and focusing on high-value-added products like floor washers, the company has grown rapidly. General Manager Peng Haiying said: "Cross-border e-commerce provides more cost-effective channels. We have the capability and confidence to compete on the international stage."
高水平对外开放新力量
A New Force in High-Level Opening Up
党的二十届三中全会提出，"创新发展数字贸易，推进跨境电商综合试验区建设"。作为改革开放的先行地，广东正实施"五外联动"推进高水平对外开放，跨境电商这一贸易新业态是其重要抓手。
The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee proposed "innovatively developing digital trade and advancing the construction of comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot zones." As a pioneer in reform and opening up, Guangdong is implementing the "Five External Linkages" strategy to promote high-level opening up, with cross-border e-commerce as a key new trade format.
驱车跨过横琴大桥，沿着琴海东路向东行进不久，六座亮白色的现代建筑群便映入眼帘。这里就是总建筑面积超72万平方米的华发跨境电商产业园。今年7月，横琴出台了促进跨境电商产业高质量发展的扶持办法，鼓励更多优质企业落户横琴。
Driving across the Hengqin Bridge and east along Qinhai East Road, six gleaming white modern buildings soon come into view. This is the Huafa Cross-border E-Commerce Industrial Park with a total construction area exceeding 720,000 square meters. In July this year, Hengqin introduced measures to support high-quality development of the cross-border e-commerce industry, encouraging more high-quality enterprises to settle in Hengqin.
广东省珠海市委书记陈勇说，珠海将紧抓跨境电商等新业态培育和发展，加大力度布局跨境电商产业新载体，探索优化支持跨境电商发展的营商环境，加速内地与港澳之间人流、物流、资金流、信息流、创新流的快速融合发展，以跨境物流促进外贸进出口。
Chen Yong, Secretary of the Zhuhai Municipal Committee of Guangdong Province, stated that Zhuhai will focus on cultivating and developing new formats like cross-border e-commerce, intensify efforts to establish new industrial carriers for cross-border e-commerce, explore and optimize the business environment supporting cross-border e-commerce development, accelerate the integrated flow of people, goods, capital, information and innovation between the mainland and Hong Kong/Macao, and promote foreign trade imports and exports through cross-border logistics.
