I'm having a similar issue as @schnedan, in that the message window doesn't render properly; with the --vulkanrender option it ... kinda does, but as soon as focus is lost in favor of another window, or message tab is switched, the Psi+ message window ceases to update. This is running under Plasma X11.

@schnedan try to run psi (psi-plus) with --vulkanrender option (for example: psi-plus --vulkanrender). It's because webengine on X11 (pure xfce) fallbacks to vulkan rendering (because of Google changes in Bink engine.

W:GBM is not supported with the current configuration. Fallback to Vulkan rendering in Chromium.

Yesterday installed the new version.

when started the message window just shows the current background where it is created (desktop, other windows...)

I tried to recompile / install, but the issue persists.

I use XFCE

Anybody with similar issues?

@morsmortium Hello, thank you for your suggestions! Made a transition to Qt6 as well as fixing project's broken URL

Hi! Can this be updated to Qt6? Here is the official PKGBUILD, that builds it with Qt6 https://github.com/Vitozz/kukuruzo/blob/master/scripts/PKGBUILDS/psi-git/PKGBUILD But this PKGBUILD has -DBUNDLED_IRIS_ALL=ON and it builds usrsctp and qca libraries bundled (as you can see there are no such dependencies), so it's not a one on one replacement, just for updating the current one.

Also, the current active website is https://psi-im.org/ https://psi-plus.com/ is defunct.

@kekistan, should now be built with psimedia, you can check it out

@Sich Could you add the psimedia plugin too? It's a hassle to build and I'd greatly appreciate it if it was done automatically on each psi-plus update. I tried the psi-plus-mediaplugin-git package, but that depends on psi-plus-git, which is broken and orphaned. Thank you for packaging psi+ in the first place, it'll be perfect once calls are supported!

had problems with images I upload are not displayed... to check I also tested the orphaned psi-plus-git --> same behaviour

It used to work...

anybody can confirm the Problem or is there a setting I miss?
