Hi, would you like to switch to the qt6 branch? It compiles but haven't tested it honestly

fix-cmake-4 has been merged, and therefore the patch needs to be removed.

It fails to build because the prepare() function seems to try to apply the same patch twice.

[pkgtest@archlinux ~cac/yay/jellyfin-media-player-git]$ makepkg -si ==> Making package: jellyfin-media-player-git r1806.c9c9506-1 (Fri Jul 12 10:44:49     2024) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... ==> Checking buildtime dependencies... ==> Retrieving sources...   -> Updating jellyfin-media-player git repo...   -> Found enable-automatic-cert-bundle-detect.patch   -> Found disable-update-check.patch ==> Validating source files with sha256sums...     jellyfin-media-player ... Happens with a fresh build. on 6.9.8-arch1-1

PSA:

Enable the "Auto-Detect Certificate Bundle" setting if you're unable to play anything after updating to ffmpeg 2:7.0.1-1.

The patch disabling update checking doesn't apply any more. I think that it should be possible to just re-create the patch, then it'll work again.

Since the last update i get the following error message on startup: jellyfinmediaplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libmpv.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Technetium1 commented on 2022-04-10 03:31 (UTC)

Fails to build in clean chroot because python is missing in makedepends.

Hey, your Jellyfin web-client version is not up-to-date. Should be https://github.com/iwalton3/jellyfin-web-jmp/releases/download/jwc-1.7.1/dist.zip instead.
