印度瞄准培育钻石市场：未来几年出口额或达80亿美元

As global demand for lab-grown diamonds surges, India, a major diamond processing hub, is accelerating its presence in this emerging market.
根据印度宝石与珠宝出口促进委员会(GJEPC)数据，印度目前占全球近90%的钻石加工市场份额。在培育钻石领域，印度年出口额约为13亿美元，但正以同比105%的速度快速增长，占全球产量的15%左右。
According to the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) of India, the country currently accounts for nearly 90% of the global diamond processing market share. In the lab-grown diamond sector, India's annual exports stand at approximately $1.3 billion, but are growing rapidly at 105% year-on-year, representing about 15% of global production.
GJEPC副主席Vipul Shah表示："从4月1日开始的本财政年度，培育钻石的出口额可能比上一年的13亿美元翻一番。在美国市场需求增加和英国及澳大利亚接受度提高的支持下，未来几年出口有望增长到70亿至80亿美元。"
Vipul Shah, Vice Chairman of GJEPC, stated: "Starting from April 1 of this fiscal year, lab-grown diamond exports could double from last year's $1.3 billion. Supported by increasing demand in the U.S. market and growing acceptance in the UK and Australia, exports are expected to reach $7-8 billion in the coming years."

According to industry estimates, global demand for lab-grown diamond rough will increase from 14.3 billion yuan in 2022 to 31.3 billion yuan in 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of 35%. Minmetals Securities predicts that the global retail market for lab-grown diamonds will reach 190 billion yuan by 2025.
贝恩咨询指出，培育钻石价格仅为天然钻石的1/10左右，且随着技术进步，两者差异越来越小。随着年轻人日常佩戴珠宝需求增加，培育钻石将对天然钻石市场形成强力冲击。
Bain & Company notes that lab-grown diamonds cost only about 1/10 of natural diamonds, and with technological advancements, the differences between them are becoming smaller. As young people's demand for everyday jewelry increases, lab-grown diamonds will strongly impact the natural diamond market.
Maitri钻石公司营销主管Shardul Vashi表示："如果天然钻石需要4000美元，而培育钻石只需700-800美元，年轻人更愿意把省下的钱花在旅游和其他体验上。"
Shardul Vashi, Marketing Director of Maitri Diamonds, said: "If a natural diamond costs $4,000 while a lab-grown one is only $700-800, young people would rather spend the savings on travel and other experiences."
