Feedback on the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 (202406-34087)

Asked by navinmistry

Post Bios Option to Reset to Factory settings, OS seems wiped or crashed and unable to recover at all.
It reboots with no HTTP Boot Error : Could not detect network connection.

and Bios menu now shows only two options
a) bootmenu
b) app menu

boot menu contains 3 options
a) NVMe0 : Samsung XXXX ( SSD ) but nothing happens upon clicking on this
b) PXE boot
c) Lenovo Cloud XXX ... .

option b & c are irrelvant as no network connection is getting detected.
all checks are getting passed from hardware checks and UEFI checks under app menu.

It looks like case to reinstall OS from recovery partition but unable to find any option to do that.. ( assuming ubuntu recovery partition comes along with thinkpad laptops being ubuntu certified)

Hi Navin, it seems you're facing significant issues with your Lenovo ThinkPad P14s. Given the BIOS options and the inability to access the recovery partition, it does sound like a reinstallation of the OS is necessary. You might want to try booting from a USB drive with Ubuntu installation media to see if that helps restore functionality.

On another note, if you're managing social media alongside your tech challenges, consider utilizing services that help you buy Instagram story views from https://autolikesig.com/buy-instagram-story-views/ to enhance your online presence while you sort out your laptop.
