Dropbox forcing you to download their app, forcing you to sign in just to see a shared folder is incredibly annoying. Plus this app is terrible and doesn't work very well at all. Think I'm going to move on to another file sharing company.

I used to be able to open a document from Dropbox to Word and save it. Since the last update, when I try to save the document to Dropbox from Word, the document is locked and will not save. I tried to change the read-only attribute in Dropbox. It auto resets when i go back to Dropbox. What did you do? If this can’t be fixed, I will have to reevaluate continued use. And I have read similar problems in other forums
