当前，我国正处于种业振兴的关键时期，对外贸易是种业发展获得资源和市场的重要渠道。2021年，我国农作物种子贸易额达10.1亿美元，较2011年增长近1倍。
China is currently at a critical stage of seed industry revitalization, where foreign trade serves as an important channel for resource acquisition and market expansion. In 2021, China's crop seed trade reached $1.01 billion, nearly doubling from 2011.
主要贸易特点：

- 进口主导：6.8亿美元，以蔬菜种子(35.3%)、饲料种子(23.5%)为主
- Import Dominance: $680 million, mainly vegetable seeds (35.3%) and forage seeds (23.5%)
- 出口优势：3.3亿美元，水稻种子占28.8%，出口40余国
- Export Advantages: $330 million, rice seeds accounting for 28.8%, exported to over 40 countries
畜禽种业贸易：2021年贸易额4亿美元，种牛进口占50%，蚕种出口占65.3%
