| PPI mode is an alternative - I use it exclusively with my CO2 laser. |

As the controller when in laser mode modulates spindle PWM (laser power) based on estimated speed/acceleration of each move, there is currently no parameter I'm aware of to offset laser power up/down to tune this (calculated vs reality), or a method to calibrate it for a given motion system.
When testing Laser mode with the jerk motion option enabled, which is still being developed of course, I found that laser power is much lower than expected, suggesting that the controller is overcompensating (estimated acceleration for a given burn move is lower than reality). Could this offset be allowed for in future firmware, specific to Laser mode? In it's present form, the jerk motion doesn't appear to work well for Laser mode because of this, at least on my setup, and the jerk motion control is so much more graceful that it would be great to be able to use it with a laser.
