The Ancient Tea Route: Liubao Tea's "Maritime Silk Road"
Located north of the Tropic of Cancer, Liubao Town's high mountains and dense fog create perfect growing conditions for tea trees. A century ago, the "Ancient Tea Route" originating from Liubao Town emerged, transporting tea hundreds of kilometers east to Guangzhou before reaching Southeast Asia via the Maritime Silk Road.

Belt and Road: Oriental Tea Aroma Spreads Worldwide
Riding the wave of the Belt and Road Initiative, Liubao tea not only returns to Southeast Asia but also reaches Europe and America. In the first half of 2023, Liubao tea exports to ASEAN from Wuzhou increased by 117.9% year-on-year. Stable consumer markets have formed in Malaysia, Singapore and other regions.

2022年，梧州市年产六堡茶3万吨，综合产值约160亿元，带动200多个行政村、24万茶农增收，平均每户年增收3000元。六堡茶正成为乡村振兴的重要产业支撑。
Industry Revitalization: Small Tea Leaves Drive Big Economy
In 2022, Wuzhou produced 30,000 tons of Liubao tea with total output value of about 16 billion yuan, benefiting over 200 villages and 240,000 tea farmers with average annual income increase of 3,000 yuan per household. Liubao tea is becoming an important industrial pillar for rural revitalization.
