With cranes towering over the construction site, workers are racing against time. As of September 13, the project has completed the topping-out of three factory buildings and warehouses, with the first silver production line scheduled for trial operation on September 28.

目前，罗定市已为黄金加工产业规划70亩用地，并提供2万多平方米标准厂房。通过"融通金"平台，已成功引进6家黄金珠宝加工企业。其中，广东金业贵金属有限公司获得LBMA认证，成为国内少数能生产标准银锭的企业之一。
Currently, Luoding has allocated 70 mu (about 4.7 hectares) of land for gold processing and provided over 20,000 square meters of standardized factory buildings. Through the "Rongtongjin" platform, six gold jewelry processing enterprises have been introduced. Among them, Guangdong Jinye Precious Metals Co., Ltd. has obtained LBMA certification, becoming one of the few domestic enterprises capable of producing standard silver ingots.
数据显示，2023年罗定市贵金属产业规模以上工业总产值达24.8亿元；2024年上半年同比增长82.5%至15.3亿元。今年1-6月，该市外贸进出口总额同比增长9.9%，其中贵金属产业占比超过20%，正逐步发展成为全国黄金首饰集散地和重要出口基地。
Statistics show that in 2023, the output value of Luoding's precious metals industry reached 2.48 billion yuan. In the first half of 2024, it grew 82.5% year-on-year to 1.53 billion yuan. From January to June this year, the city's total foreign trade import and export volume increased by 9.9%, with the precious metals industry accounting for over 20%. Luoding is gradually developing into a national gold jewelry distribution center and important export base.
