The project is a major initiative led by the Department of International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce, won by China State Construction Engineering Corporation, and constructed by the Overseas Company of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. Located in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador in Central America, the project covers an area of approximately 176,000 square meters and includes a professional football stadium with a capacity of 50,000 people and supporting facilities.
