数量条款是贸易合同的主要内容之一，任何进出口交易都需商定货物数量，出口商按数量交付货物，进口商按数量收取货物。如何正确订立数量条款，需要考虑三个关键问题。

Quantity clauses are one of the main components of trade contracts. Any import/export transaction requires agreement on the quantity of goods, with exporters delivering and importers receiving goods according to the specified quantity. There are three key considerations when properly drafting quantity clauses.

一、数量计算单位的选用问题

1. Selection of Quantity Measurement Units

由于进出口商品种类繁多，加上各国度量衡制度差异，即使采用同一名称的数量单位，也可能存在显著差别。例如：

Due to the variety of import/export commodities and differences in measurement systems between countries, even when using the same unit name, there may be significant variations. For example:

• 吨(Ton)：英制=1016.05kg，美制=907.2kg，公制=1000kg
• Ton: British=1016.05kg, American=907.2kg, Metric=1000kg

目前公制(Metric System)虽已普遍接受，但许多国家仍沿用英制、美制或其他习惯度量衡制度。

Although the metric system is now widely accepted, many countries still use British, American or other customary measurement systems.

进出口交易常用六种数量单位

Six Common Quantity Units in Import/Export Trade

1. 重量(Weight)单位：用于原材料、农副产品等

• 长吨(Long Ton/L.T)=1016.05kg
• 短吨(Short Ton/S.T)=907.2kg
• 公吨(Metric Ton/M.T)=1000kg
