掌上春城讯 2月22日10时30分，满载螺纹钢的货运列车从玉溪研和货运站发出并缓缓加速，驶向老挝首都万象。这标志着中老铁路云南钢材出口专列正式发车。

Kunming News At 10:30 AM on February 22, a freight train loaded with rebar departed from Yuxi Yanhe Freight Station and gradually accelerated toward Vientiane, the capital of Laos. This marks the official launch of the Yunnan-Laos Railway steel export special train.

72小时后，这批建筑材料将用于老挝万象的工程建设，为当地发展添砖加瓦。

In 72 hours, these construction materials will be used for engineering projects in Vientiane, contributing to local development.

中老铁路开通运营以来，玉溪研和货运站结合区位优势，先后实现水果、生鲜等冷链及钢材成件货物的运输，发运量、发运品类逐年上涨，有效提升了中老铁路整体运量和货源覆盖面。

Since the opening of the China-Laos Railway, Yuxi Yanhe Freight Station has leveraged its geographical advantages to transport cold-chain goods (such as fruits and fresh produce) and steel products. Both shipment volume and categories have increased year by year, effectively enhancing the railway's overall capacity and cargo coverage.

此次运输的806吨螺纹钢，以35吨集装箱方式装运，以专列的形式开行，除磨憨口岸报关报检外，全程不进行编组作业，货物将顺畅地一站直达老挝首都万象南站。

The 806 tons of rebar transported this time were loaded in 35-ton containers and operated as a dedicated train. Apart from customs clearance at the Mohan Port, no regrouping operations were required along the way, ensuring smooth direct delivery to Vientiane South Station in Laos.

据介绍，这批钢材均由玉溪本地钢铁企业组织，利用中老铁路运输，货物到达万象南站后，将投入当地水利和城市建设。

According to reports, the steel products were organized by local Yuxi steel enterprises and transported via the China-Laos Railway. After arriving at Vientiane South Station, they will be used for local water conservancy and urban construction projects.

经评估，老挝基建潜力巨大、需求旺盛，中国生产的优质建筑材料，将大大满足老挝当地城市基建项目发展需求，未来钢材跨境运输专列也将成为云南建筑企业保稳增运的项目持续推进。

中老铁路开通两年多来，截至目前，累计运输货物3310万吨，进出口货物超760万吨。便捷高效的铁路，极大地激活了老挝发展潜力，为两国企业发展、人员就业提供新的平台，越来越多的两国企业，通过铁路联系在一起，中老铁路黄金大通道作用正日益凸显。

Since its opening over two years ago, the China-Laos Railway has transported a total of 33.1 million tons of cargo, including over 7.6 million tons of import-export goods. This efficient railway has significantly activated Laos' development potential, providing new platforms for enterprises and employment in both countries. More and more businesses are now connected through this railway, highlighting the growing importance of the China-Laos Railway as a "golden corridor."
