台湾将成为亚洲新能源领导者？Google与CRS合作推动可再生能源认证
国际能源新趋势：美国非营利组织"资源解决方案中心"(Center for Resources Solutions, CRS)近期获得Google种子基金支持，将以台湾为起点，建立亚洲首个可再生能源凭证(REC)机制。
New Energy Trend: The US non-profit Center for Resources Solutions (CRS) has secured seed funding from Google to establish Asia's first Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) system, starting from Taiwan.
CRS执行总监Jennifer Martin表示："我们拥有20年清洁能源政策开发经验。此次合作将创建本地化可再生能源发展凭证，这是亚洲首个此类行动。"
CRS Executive Director Jennifer Martin stated: "With 20 years of experience in clean energy policy development, this collaboration will create localized renewable energy certificates - the first initiative of its kind in Asia."
认证机制如何运作？CRS将为每兆瓦时的风电或太阳能电力建立认证。企业购买电力时可同时购买认证，确保能源来源真实可靠。
How the Certification Works: CRS will issue certificates for each megawatt-hour of wind or solar power. Companies can purchase both electricity and certificates to verify the renewable source.
台湾绿色和平组织蔡丝婷主任对此合作表示支持："我们希望更多企业了解认证机制，选择清洁能源。"
Greenpeace Taiwan's Director Tsai Szu-ting expressed support: "We hope more companies will understand the certification system and choose clean energy."
