The latest data from the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department shows that Hong Kong's total export value in August 2023 decreased by 6.1% year-on-year, while import value dropped by 7.4%. This marks the second consecutive month of negative growth in Hong Kong's foreign trade following a 1.6% decline in July.
