珠宝行业遇冷：1月价格下跌10% 香港零售市场面临挑战
香港零售市场持续低迷，最新数据显示1月份珠宝首饰、钟表及名贵礼物的销货值同比下跌超过20%。香港钻石总会主席马墉宜在出席国际珠宝展时表示，这一现象主要源于内地经济放缓的影响。
Weakness in Hong Kong's Retail Market continues as the latest figures show sales value of jewelry, watches and valuable gifts dropped over 20% year-on-year in January. Hong Kong Diamond Federation Chairman Ma Yongyi attributed this phenomenon primarily to the economic slowdown in mainland China during his appearance at the international jewelry exhibition.
马墉宜指出，1月份珠宝产品单价已下跌10%，而3-4月作为行业传统淡季，预计销货额将进一步下滑。不过他认为这是周期性调整，行业将通过控制成本和提高产品质量来应对挑战。
Ma noted that jewelry product prices have already dropped 10% in January, and with March-April being the traditional off-season for the industry, sales are expected to decline further. However, he views this as a cyclical adjustment, with the industry responding by controlling costs and improving product quality.
周生生董事总经理周杰成透露，今年农历新年期间销售额同比下降10%-20%，主要因为内地游客消费模式改变，更多选择自用而非送礼，且旅游目的地更加多元化。
Chow Sang Sang Managing Director Zhou Jiecheng revealed that sales during this year's Lunar New Year decreased 10%-20% year-on-year, mainly due to changing spending patterns of mainland tourists who now prefer purchases for personal use rather than gifts, and have more diverse travel destination choices.
六福集团公布的数据更为严峻，春节期间港澳地区同店销售下降25%，其中黄金销售暴跌33%。公司表示，日圆和欧元贬值吸引了大量高端消费者转向日本和欧洲市场。
The figures from Luk Fook Holdings are even more severe, showing a 25% drop in same-store sales in Hong Kong and Macau during the Spring Festival, with gold sales plunging 33%. The company noted that the depreciation of the yen and euro has attracted many high-end consumers to Japan and European markets.
尽管面临挑战，行业领袖表示将采取开源节流策略，暂不考虑大规模关店或裁员。马墉宜特别指出，去年香港珠宝出口总值仍增长8.4%，显示行业仍具发展潜力。
Despite the challenges, industry leaders stated they would adopt cost-cutting and revenue-increasing strategies, with no immediate plans for large-scale store closures or layoffs. Ma Yongyi particularly noted that Hong Kong's total jewelry exports still grew 8.4% last year, indicating the industry retains development potential.
