Hong Kong Exporters' Confidence Index Rises: Strong Growth Momentum in Q3 2024

香港 - 根据香港贸易发展局（贸发局）最新发布的"2024年第三季度香港贸发局出口信心指数"显示，香港出口商对未来业务发展持乐观态度。

Hong Kong - According to the latest Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Export Confidence Index for Q3 2024, Hong Kong exporters remain optimistic about future business development.

调查数据显示，2024年第三季度出口信心整体现状指数上升1点至52.6点，表明销售、新订单表现强劲，单价上升以及采购活动增加。

The survey shows the overall current export confidence index for Q3 2024 rose by 1 point to 52.6, indicating strong sales and new orders performance, rising unit prices and increased procurement activities.

在六大主要行业中（机械、电子产品、珠宝、钟表、玩具及服装），有五个行业的出口商预计当前良好态势将延续至下一季度。其中服装出口商最为乐观，其次是玩具和珠宝行业。

Among the six major industries (machinery, electronics, jewelry, watches, toys and clothing), exporters in five industries expect the current positive trend to continue into the next quarter. Clothing exporters are the most optimistic, followed by toy and jewelry industries.

不过，2024年第三季度出口信心整体预期指数下降2.9点至51.4点，但仍处于扩张区间。成本压力成为削弱出口商信心的主要因素。

However, the overall export confidence expectation index for Q3 2024 fell by 2.9 points to 51.4, but remains in expansion territory. Cost pressures have become the main factor weakening exporters' confidence.

贸发局表示，尽管国际紧张局势持续带来不确定性，但香港出口仍保持强劲。大多数受访者表示未受最新一轮贸易限制和关税上调的影响，即使有影响也非常轻微。

The HKTDC stated that despite ongoing international tensions creating uncertainty, Hong Kong's exports remain strong. Most respondents reported being unaffected by the latest round of trade restrictions and tariff increases, with any impact being very minor.
