Ministry of Agriculture data shows China's agricultural product import/export volume reached $263.9 billion from January to October 2023, with exports growing 2.8%. Bangladeshi auto parts importer Mihazur noted: "Chinese county-level enterprises, though smaller in scale, offer advantages like lower production costs and greater flexibility." He highlighted Shandong's Tengzhou city successfully exporting potatoes to South Korea and obtaining EU geographical indication protection, demonstrating the global competitiveness of county-level specialty products.

黑龙江省绥芬河市通过中俄边民互市贸易，2023年外贸额增长28.2%，县域经济排名跃升41位至全省第4。专家建议边境县市应优化贸易环境，促进产业文化融合，发展跨境电商服务。
Heilongjiang's Suifenhe city saw 28.2% foreign trade growth in 2023 through China-Russia border trade, with its county economy ranking jumping 41 spots to 4th provincially. Experts suggest border counties should optimize trade environments, promote industry-culture integration, and develop cross-border e-commerce services.

He suggested enterprises strengthen R&D while government departments optimize supervision services to jointly enhance county economies' global competitiveness.
