Despite the promising market outlook, logistics has become a major bottleneck. Pet Circle delivers 3 million kg of pet food annually from its 7,000 sqm Sydney warehouse. Frizell notes: "This is a very low-margin industry that can't afford any lost or damaged goods."

To address this challenge, Pet Circle developed specialized packaging technology and partners with seven logistics companies using a segmented delivery strategy. "We split the supply chain into different zones handled by different companies, as no single provider can handle all our business," Frizell explains.
