【环球科技综合报道】 据美国彭博社7月11日报道，谷歌近日宣布将在印度启动一项雄心勃勃的开发者培训计划，旨在培养200万名安卓平台开发者，以增强其在移动应用生态系统的竞争力。
Google stated in an official announcement that this initiative, named the "Android Skills" program, will be offered free of charge to hundreds of public and private universities as well as training institutions across India. The program will also be promoted through the Indian government's National Skill Development Corporation.

Caesar Sengupta, VP of Product Management at Google, emphasized: "India's developer population is projected to reach 4 million by 2018, surpassing the US to become the world's largest. However, only a quarter are currently engaged in mobile app development."

It's worth noting that Apple is also making strategic moves in India. During his visit in May, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced plans to establish a development accelerator in Bangalore to support iOS developers.
