谷歌要将“智能撰写”功能推广到哪些第三方 App?
In 2018, Google launched the "Smart Compose" feature for the Web version of Gmail and extended it to the Android platform in 2019.
Presently, the search giant is conducting fresh tests with the aim of extending the "Smart Compose" feature to other messaging apps via the Android version of Gboard.
Enabled by the "Smart Compose" feature, Gboard offers more intelligent input suggestions and can even complete entire sentences.
In contrast, the "intelligent association" feature of the conventional input method typically provides suggestions for the next word only.
Upon its initial launch, users can view a brief explanation of "Smart Compose". If they are content with the suggestions provided by Gboard, users can simply swipe right on the selected text.
It is reported that Google is currently conducting a Beta test of the "Smart Compose" feature for some users running the Gboard input method version 9.5.12.317844448. Regarding when it will be rolled out to the general public, this remains unknown.
