HBO (Or HBO Max? Or Max? Or Home Box Office? Who knows anymore) brings us this hard-bitten series starring Mark Ruffalo as a Philadelphia-based FBI agent heading up a task force to end a string of violent robberies undertaken by an unassuming family man played by Tom Pelphrey.
Helmed by Mare of Easttown creator Brad Ingelsby, viewers are already drawing parallels between the two shows, both exploring similar themes of grief, generational trauma, guilt, and familial responsibility through the lens of the detective.
Well I enjoyed this short lived series of stand alone episodes including Dee's/Alpha, it just shows more outside of the walking dead's bubble and the irony of how foolish and easily manipulated humans really are.. just my opinion no shade *!*
I never even heard of the book/s The Wheel of Time but based on this amazing series which I very much enjoyed I will be looking forward to finding and reading them.
