PeachNet Scheduled Maintenance - DB300 User Port Moves Sep 25, 2025 18:00-23:00 EDT

As part of the ongoing LAN infrastructure refresh, Network Support Services (NSS) will be migrating DB300 LAN user ports from the old first floor LAN switches to the new Meraki LAN switch stack. Not all users will be moved, this will be a phased deployment. Users on premises using wired switch ports on the first floor of DB300 might notice a 1- 5min interruption, but since this work is being performed after hours there will likely be no users impacted.

This maintenance will occur on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Scheduled - The USG instance of ServiceNow will be upgraded from Washington DC to the new Yokohama version on Thursday, September 25.

• The system will remain accessible during the maintenance window.

D2L will be conducting non-service affecting maintenance to update the GeorgiaVIEW PROD Online Learning Environments to version 20.25.09 from Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. until Friday, September 26, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

This maintenance is NOT expected to affect GeorgiaVIEW access or service. If this maintenance adversely impacts server performance, additional information will be posted here. Scheduled - Network Support Services (NSS) will be updating software on the Azure virtual firewall (AZPA/B). These updates should not be service affecting. The firewalls in these pairs will be updated sequentially to ensure no downtime occurs.

This maintenance will occur on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

No outages are expected. This is a redundant firewall pair, and each member of the pair will be updated in sequence to keep a firewall always operational during the maintenance.

Update - One or more cabinets on the lower section did lose power. It appears that the power to the cabinets have been restored as well as the respective services. Power work is still on going as the PeachNet optical gear is still on redundant power.
