The news you’ve been waiting for is finally here: registration for PyCon US 2026 is officially open! PyCon US will take place May 13 - May 19, 2026, in Long Beach, California at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center . The core of the conference, May 15 - May 17, 2026, packs in three days' worth of our community’s best talks, amazing keynote speakers, and our famed lightning talks to close out each day—but it’s much more than that! It’s gathering together with the members of our community to learn from, share with, and connect. It’s joining a conversation in the hallway with the creators of our open source projects. It’s taking yourself from beginner to intermediate; intermediate to advanced; or advanced to cutting edge. For some, it’s getting started with Python for the first time. PyCon US 2026 is coming to Long Beach, California ! PyCon US is the premiere conference for the Python programming language in North America. Python experts and enthusiasts from around the globe will gather in Long Beach to discuss and learn about the latest developments to the Python programming language and massive ecosystem of Python projects. As we close the books on PyCon US 2025, we can’t express enough gratitude to everyone who joined us in Pittsburgh, PA, and made our 9 days together a special and unforgettable experience. We had an amazing and diverse group of community members join us for PyCon US 2025, attending from 58 different countries! By the numbers, we welcomed a total attendance of 2,225 Pythonistas to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Community Organizer Summit: 10:30 am - 1 pm on Saturday, May 17th PSF & Meetups Discussion: 1pm - 2pm on Sunday, May 18th Saturday’s Community Organizer Summit kicks off with a keynote and then three short “Show & Tell” slots, for which the CFP is open now .
