#OktoberfestOfThings Hackday 2017
We’ll meet today Sept 27 at Erfindergarden.de (map) to build some stuff. We got some LoRaWAN nodes, a TTN gateway and various sensors. Andy’s space has soldering irons, 3D printers and an Othermill. See you there from noon…
Hackday 2015 at Fablab Munich
Thanks Andi and Fablab Munich for hosting the hackday and all for coming!

Andi’s interactive learning system based on the CodeBug http://www.codebug.co.uk/

Felt case http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1021999 for the Arduino compatible Light Blue Bean board with BLE http://legacy.punchthrough.com/bean/

Light Blue Bean based panic button (if you made this please post a link to the design files in the comments)

And we got some participants to try Arduino with this simple tutorial http://www.tamberg.org/chopen/2015/IoTPrototyping.pdf

Bring your hardware, or just drop by. Everybody is welcome!
LittleBits CloudBit Version
With FabLab Munich’s laser and some zip ties, we made yet another Masskurg adapter for the LittleBits CloudBit. As it requires quite some power we added a fat USB power brick (thanks Faye). The CloudBit hooks right into IFTTT.com, no programming required. Tethering the WiFi to an Android phone also worked fine. In our setup, the loudness sensor (a.k.a. Prosit Detektor) triggers a Tweet. To debug the trigger we replaced it with a button. The LED is also triggered by a simple IFTTT rule and serves as an indicator that everything worked.

Here’s a short video of an end-to-end demo and testing the Prost Detektor.
Hackday at FabLab Munich
After the pre-work talk we went to FabLab Munich for an entire day of building stuff. Thanks Andreas for hosting this awesome session.

SparkCore, Alcohol sensor

LittleBits version and last year’s Arduino / BLE version.

Florin’s Flaschen-mod. Johannes’ SparkCore code lets it communicate by lighting up one bottle’s LED triggered by sensor input from a second bottle.

SparkCore, Masskrug adapter, Tilt sensor, LiPo

(A rare moment of structure)

We’ve also been visited by the organisers of Make Munich, an independent faire that you should definitely check out if you’re in Munich Nov 1st/2nd.
