MidSouthCon 41: The Update You Didn’t Know You Were Waiting For

Back in June, we said we’d have big announcements about MidSouthCon 41. And technically, we still can—but only if your definition of “big announcement” includes things like “we’re still working on it.” Or for particularly large values of “June”.

Yes, friends, the wheels of convention planning are turning… just maybe not at ludicrous speed. We’re deep in negotiations, scouting venues, syncing calendars, consulting oracles, bribing dragons (okay, just one dragon, and only with snacks), and doing all the behind-the-scenes work needed to make MidSouthCon 41 our best yet.

We know everyone’s eager to mark their calendars and start planning costumes, games, panels, and general geekery. Trust us—we’re just as eager to get those details finalized and out into the world. But we also want to make sure everything is locked down right, not just right now.

So hang tight, keep your dice warm and your cosplay sewing machines humming. We promise to announce the date and venue as soon as the stars align (or at least the contracts do).

MidSouthCon 40 has come to a close, and we are beyond grateful for everyone who made this convention an unforgettable experience!

To our amazing guests, panelists, artists, vendors, and volunteers—thank you for sharing your time, talents, and passion with us. To our attendees, new and returning, your energy and enthusiasm are what make MidSouthCon so special. From the panels and gaming tables to the art show and cosplay contest, every moment was made better because of you.

A huge shout-out to our dedicated ConCom and staff, whose countless hours of hard work and commitment brought this event to life. You are the backbone of MidSouthCon, and we couldn’t do it without you.
