Part-DB 2.0 now finally introduces the new web configurable settings system, I am working on for 2 years now and wrote a completely new symfony bundle for.
Administrators can now access a new page called system settings, where you can configure (almost) all important aspects of Part-DB:

It is still possible to use environment variables and existing configurations will still function with Part-DB 2.0
