What's your favorite hidden feature on Android?

There's a lot to like about Android, from its open nature to the wide range of devices that can run it, including your refrigerator, TV, and E Ink e-reader. It's a versatile OS, and with that versatility comes plenty of features that many may not know about. Did you know you can use your spacebar to move the cursor on the screen more accurately? And that's just one handy keyboard trick. Imagine how many other hidden features there may be. So, let's share and compare. What's your favorite hidden feature on Android?

Do you use Gemini to help control your smart home?

A smart home is plenty convenient, having access to things like your temperature and cameras from the palm of your hand. But sometimes you don't want to nanny your devices, sometimes you just want to bark out commands to get things done, and this is where Gemini comes in. The extra convenience is nice, which has me wondering how many smart home owners take advantage of Gemini. So, do you use Gemini to help control your smart home, or are you happy interfacing through an app on a screen?

If you had to replace Gmail, what would you replace it with?

Let's face it, Gmail is showing its age, from lackluster search to delayed notifications. While I haven't fully moved away from Gmail yet, the day is coming as I test alternatives. For now, I'm pretty happy with Proton Mail, but there are certainly more options to check out. Some prefer Outlook, and Fastmail deserves a mention. So, if you had to replace Gmail with an alternative, what would you replace it with?

Have you received Google TV's latest makeover?

A subtle makeover for Google TV has been rolling out, bringing with it a handful of expressive Material 3 designs that ideally make the app easier to browse. Things like more prominent titles and dynamic color theming made the cut, though these aren't huge changes, admittedly. So, have you noticed this change? Have you received Google TV's latest makeover, or are you still waiting?
