macOS High Sierra(APFS)にパーティションを追加するときは、TimeMachineのスナップショットを確認しよう。

MacでDockerを使った開発に疲れ果てた僕はLinuxを使うことにしたんだけど、パーティションを追加するのに3日もかかったお話し。

結論

結論を先に書くと、TimeMachineを使ってるとパーティションを追加できない。
ココを読んで、local snapshotsを消すと解決する。（この方法に辿り着く前にTimeMachineを停止したけど多分関係ない。）

やったことメモ

解決しちゃったんで画像とか残ってないし、言語設定がUSなのでJAの文言はわからない。

パーティション（APFSではコンテナと言うらしい）の追加方法を調べる
ディスクユーティリティのパーティション画面で+ボタンが押せない
- 右下に This volume can not be split because the resulting volumes would be too small. って書いてある
ディスクをアンマウントした状態（option+command+Rで起動）でやってみるがダメ
- 危うくコンテナをイレースしかけた。警告はちゃんと読みましょう！
GUIでダメならCUIや！ってことでdiskutilコマンドを使うが怒られる
