Completing week 3 of my new gig at Cloudinary as Director of Developer Relations. Finishing off some other engagements nice and neat. And booking some of the first third-party conference travel I've done in years!
I made it through 2 back to back, high impact war rooms AND they made me spend a day in the office for the first time since covid. I'm not a fan of the 2 hour drive at all and I'm praying to everything holy that they don't try to start a habit of it - things are going just fine as they are 🌧️ 🌩️
Software dev with experience in Windows, .NET, web dev, APIs, .NET Core, Razor Pages, and ReactJS. I love exploring new tech and building modern solutions.
This Week's Wins: ✅ Earned my Git Badge on Dev ✅ Dockerized my .NET app ✅ Pushed image to Docker Hub ✅ Deployed to Azure App Service using container support ✅ Set up custom domain with DNS + SSL ✅ Verified ownership via TXT record ✅ Bound SSL with a free HTTPS certificate
We’ve launched a hackathon on AquaScript! In this challenge, developers have to use the AquaScript Movies Data API to build a beautiful, responsive website using any tech stack they prefer. There’s a prize for the winner.
We’re also planning to add new APIs and features very soon. And we also add a Advertisement page to advertise if anybody Wants to do. We invite all users from the DEV Community to participate in this challenge.
And yes, if anyone wants to collaborate in building AquaScript, they are most welcome!
Built and deployed a service that turns geotagged photos into interactive stories on Google Maps - all through email!
✅ Email processing with automatic GPS extraction
✅ Real-time map updates (stories appear in seconds)
✅ Community features (voting, sharing, reporting)
✅ No app downloads required - works with any email client
✅ Responsive design across all devices
The coolest part? You just email your travel photo with a story, and it automatically appears on an interactive world map. Perfect for documenting adventures and discovering hidden gems from other travelers.
Built this using Postmark's easy-to-use email processing service.
MylibSQLAdmin - A Modern libSQL Database Management Platform
A Modern SQLite Database Management System
In the age of data-driven applications, the demand for lightweight, scalable, and modern database solutions has never been greater. libSQL is a powerful fork of SQLite designed for the modern era, offering advanced features such as serverless and server-based modes, fine-grained access control, and native branching capabilities.
MylibSQLAdmin is an open-source web GUI built specifically for managing libSQL databases. By harnessing the full potential of libSQL-server functionalities, this project provides an intuitive and comprehensive platform for database administration, making it easier than ever to manage your database systems through an accessible web interface. You can connect with libsql-server from Docker Service or use your existing libsql-server instance.
Today I finished something special — not an assignment, but a personal project I created to train my patience. You can check it out on GitHub! I improved my programming language design skills and have already started working on an even more challenging project.
I was make a 100+ video with the Midjourney new video making capability. Which is much more cheaper and consistent compared the other AI video generator.
I also started using a cursor for upgrade a boring complex legacy code. That is fare from a vibe coding, but if used well then that is a great help on that process.
