Ok i don’t know why im always so quite on line. it hits weird cause in the real world im told i never shut up. so im going to try and jump in and see what transpires. it also another whole thing for me to say im a dev im not…. i have always been interested in them and in coding but really, it just wouldn’t click most my life. i was that guy who can fix you phone screen and you computer screen maybe could figure out how to clear a virus or at least i would think i could. thought i was cool with the cli in my twenties cause i could dir a folder Laugh Out Loud. Anyhow, that’s just ehat it was till about two years ago when i found my first Ai i think it was gemini before they changed name to gemini well i guess not right at first, i was a little bummed at the time when it told me it could just roam the internet, cause then that wasn’t truly AI i told my self. well then one day i found out that AI could sculpt help me code things, i wasn’t like hmmm ok lets see so i started messing with gemini and small codes and one day it was like wanna make a game like IO snake type game? i was like hell yes let’s do it. mind you at this time i didn’t now what a class was in python or def or any of it. ( i barely do know) and after about 5 different try’s all of the sudden on my screen was snakeIO type game that worked and everything AND that was it!!! yes i’m an Ai code Addicte who doesn’t know what the ai is doing half the time Laugh Out Loud. but i’ve figure out use Ai and lead it in the directions it needs to get there. it’s been pretty crazy, i mean i swear i’ve put more work into everything i’ve been build with Ai then pretty much anything and i haven’t written a single line of code. insane to me but slipping amazing. But i feel i have come at least a little ways with the uderstanding of code. just but being able to see it and ask questions any questions with out feeling like im driving the Ai nuts cause i keep asking the same dumb question over and over till i get it. it been life changing in every way. i mean just pure confidence with out even knowing it, i’ve become so much more confident, more productive happier even. in all ways it have benefited me for now with high hopes of it continuing to do that. Over the last few weeks, I’ve been building a small product called Roamo — a minimal walking route app that helps you discover interesting places nearby and build routes through them.
Roamo is inspired by a simple idea: what if we could rediscover our surroundings, one walk at a time?
A Bit of Context
I’m an iOS developer and recently started working solo on indie products.
This project came out of both personal exploration and personal healing — after losing my father, I found myself pouring energy into something creative, something that gets people out into the world.
Roamo is powered by MapKit, custom route rendering, and a backend service that pulls in points of interest (POIs) and builds smart paths based on categories, distance, and more.
What It Does
Finds POIs (parks, architecture, coffee shops, etc.) near you
Builds walking routes with nice stops along the way
Reroutes dynamically based on your choices
Works great for locals and travelers
It's simple by design — no sign-in, no ads, just walk.
