Hi. My name is Kelly. I'm a second year second Computer Science. A fun fact about me is that I'm a crochter and a knitter. I came here after watching the Bolt.new live with Dev.
Welcome to DEV!
In case you haven't read about KnitPicks, there's reports they mailed yarn with beetle larva. Via Reddit I don't knit or know anymore than is on the link.
Ty
Thank you
Thats nice hi!
Hello
Hello
Hello, Kelly!
Do you mind sharing, what projects you are working on?
A crochet/knit project or a coding project?
I guess people here would be more interested in your coding projects :)
Yeah, that sounds about right. I'm currently working on a site called Study Halo (studyhalo.com) which is aimed in helping our University students (currently only focused on Computer Science Modules) solve the issues they face and also that we faced or are currently facing as students. I also entered the Bolt.new hackathon. I can't wait for this judging period to finish so I can continue with my project ( cralaxia.me). Currenlty also creating my ecommence site for my small business. I just competed the 2 part of a React course so I'm doing the end of the "chapter" coding project.
Hello
it's ok if i can ask for your email or telegram ? Just to ask more about your work and skills
Hi👋
Hello
Hi Kelly Im new as well
hey Kelly, nice to meet you!
Hello!
welcome. I am new as well hope we'll make it.
Hello
Hello ,
I’m Nova. I write what I learn — and I learn by writing.
Python is my current world. JavaScript is on my radar.
Following the Feynman way: teach it to understand it.
Great plan. Helps me remember things.
Love that mindset, Nova — Feynman would be proud. I'm taking a similar path with Python right now, and I agree: writing it down really sharpens understanding. Keep sharing!
Thank you very much Slobodan. You encourage me. It means a lot for me.

Looking forward to connecting & learning from the dev.to community!
Hey Chris, welcome! 🙌 Wanderer sounds really intriguing. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves! Always great to have builders like you in the dev.to community :)
Thanks for the friendly welcome :-)
Hey Chris — welcome! 🙌
Wanderer sounds super intriguing, and I love the privacy-first approach.
Always great seeing more devs building thoughtful tools. Can’t wait to see where it goes!
Hey. Thanks for the kind words! Yes, I'm also very curious whether there's even a market for Privacy First in this area.
I hope so. I am old school. Privacy is important to me. It is a balance of what I want the internet to know, and what I don't want it to know. Unfortunately, I am sure it knows A LOT more than I want it to know.
Yes, let's see where this leads :-)

I'm Hank Allen, a 68 year old retired programmer who stated coding again for fun. One thing I'm doing is creating python scripts to run an RGB LED matrix through a Raspberry Pi. I'm also doing some php stuff for the website I created for a ukulele group called the Mentone Ukes that I also play in. Coding seems to help my mind work better.
Nice to meet you Hank! I definitely agree that coding makes the mind "work better" as I've noticed when doing non-coding tasks.

Hey all. I’m Declan, a full-stack dev based in Ottawa, working at a climate-tech startup.

I'm Brad — indie dev residing in Thailand but running my business out of the U.S.
I found DEV.to thanks to ChatGPT while working on one of my apps — it wouldn’t shut up about how I had to post here. Turns out… it was right.
Currently building Billivio (pay-per-use billing infra — no subscriptions, no user accounts) and made a weird little mic/speaker tester at check-one-two.com.
I mostly do backend — .NET / MySQL / APIs — and I'm here to connect, post real progress, and maybe dodge a few meetings.
Always down to hear about what others are building — drop a link, say hey, or point me at your weirdest side project.

Hey All. I am the original author of Agile Toolkit (low-code PHP framework), but last few years I code in Rust. I am currently researching some better way to generalise data interaction and build db-agnostic persistence layers for applications. That's like an entity framework for Rust.
I hope that my work would be useful for Rust open-source community especially in the area of enterprise applications and make it a viable platform to build powerful CRM/ERP systems.
I joined dev.to to flush out my thoughts as I continue to refine my approach query building, cross-database expressions, dry data-set manipulation and entity generalisation approaches.
Hi everyone! 👋
I'm Joban, currently diving deep into React.js and full-stack web development. I'm here to level up my skills, build real-world projects, and eventually transition into freelancing and product development.

I'm looking to reignite my passion for coding as it's been a while since I've created something I really enjoyed :)
Am Alex currently building Connective which is a next-generation social platform designed to foster authentic human connection, creative self-expression, and meaningful interaction. Unlike traditional social media focused on vanity metrics and surface-level engagement, Connective prioritizes emotional depth, personalization, and purposeful content. The app leverages short-form video formats, allowing users to share real moments, ideas, and experiences through guided prompts and emotion-tagged uploads. It replaces likes with empathy-based reactions such as “Relate,” “Feel You,” and “Uplift,” encouraging validation and understanding rather than competition.
Using AI-powered emotional intelligence tools, Connective personalizes content feeds based on user mood, behavior, and interests. Features like mood journaling, reflective check-ins, and interactive challenges promote self-awareness and growth. The platform includes private sharing circles for family, friends, mentors, or communities, making it a safe, curated space for both public inspiration and private support.
Built with a scalable microservices architecture and robust content moderation tools, Connective ensures data security, user privacy, and a positive social environment. It caters to a broad demographic—from young adults to professionals and educators—who seek digital experiences that empower, uplift, and connect in more human ways.
In essence, Connective is where technology meets intentionality—building a digital ecosystem for authenticity, empathy, and real connection.
Am looking forward to get a Co founder.
Heyy.. My name is Joe. I'm working on a number of cool things, including Rust-based forks of Android and Arch Linux, and a web framework based on Bun.js + Elysia, Vue, and htmx, with web assembly and Node extensions written in Rust.

🛠️ Learning right now: Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and cloud-native DevOps tools.
👉 Fun fact: I often explain tech to friends using real-world analogies — coffee machines, kitchens, movie sets... and surprisingly, it sticks! 😄
Happy to connect and learn with all of you!
