That's awesome!!!
That is absolutely amazing!! 🌱🌱 It is so satisfying to see how DEV is evolving day by day and be part of this great community 💕
Congrats 🎉🎉
Thanks for keeping such a strong focus on the community!
I saw this earlier today but I didn't realize that forem/forem is the new repo name for thepracticaldev/dev.to until just now, when I clicked through a link in a blog post I'm working on. Redirects beautifully!
And congrats! 🌱🌱🌱
Had the same doubt but your comment helped. Cheers on the move to empower the community that in turn contributes back to the dev.to platform, Ben!
PS: If it helps, should Github searches for Dev.to now show the rebranded Forem repo herewith?
@ben now if we want to contribute to DEV, do we fork and contribute to Forem?
Yup. DEV is 100% running a configuration of Forem.
Gotcha. I was a bit worry because I have a Trello board with links to issues I'd like to contribute to. Thought the URL were gonna break but they didn't 👍🏽
Congrats 🎉🎉
Probably you'll need to update the Readme file too as it only talks about Dev now 🦄
Good call
Could make for a good PR @mazentouati . 😎
Exciting news! Going to check it out :)
Awesome now anyone who is working on Forem they are going to use this 🌱 in there bio's everywhere anywhere that is cool 😊👏
Yayyyy 🌱
Congrats 🌱
Awesome... This is superb.. .
Awesome! It will be interesting to see how contributing to the foundational forem repo will differ from each customization (e.g. dev.to) and how the entire ecosystem will continue to grow.
I feel proud to be a part of this strong community 😍 Thanks Ben.. I wish Dev all the best..
