There were some very impressive submissions last time around so I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone builds!
Good luck everyone!
Yay!! We're so excited to be able to offer this challenge again – with some fun new twists. I can't wait to see what you all build! If you have any questions about KendoReact or Nuclia (now Progress Agentic RAG), feel free to tag me – or (even better) join our Discord!
I'm so excited to participate in this challenge and I'm a bit nervous cuz its my first challenge.
You got this! We're here to help if you have any questions. If it might make you feel more comfortable, you could always group up with a friend and work together! Or, join the Progress Labs Discord group, where you'll find lots of support if you want to brainstorm ideas, ask tech questions, or just talk with other devs about how it's going 😊
I'm so excited to participate to this awesome challenge ! Good luck to everyone.
Just a react app made using KendoReact works or a backend is also required for it?
Just a React app! You're welcome to add a backend if it's needed for your idea, but it's not a requirement
LEt's goooo
IMHO, I'm cooking something pretty cool. :)))
Really excited to bring this to dev.to community.
If you found it useful, please share! PRs are welcome <3

Do we require to make it live on domain? (VPS is required since it uses MySQL too)
I am planning to make a good scalable application MVP with backend, but the deployment cost can be a problem for me as a student.
@jess
Hey @3m, scalability issues won't be part of the judging criteria so I would try to find a free service to deploy your app.
Thanks sir, I will attach a demo video too; incase we didn’t find efficient.
Awesome! ♥️
Hello, I’ve integrated Nuclia semantic search into my app, and it’s a major part of its functionality. However, my 14-day trial is about to end. Even if I submit the project before the trial expires, the API key and Knowledge Base ID will soon become invalid, which means the search feature may stop working.
I’m considering building a fallback system (like local fuzzy search), but that would require changing my code and layout—making it harder to demonstrate how I originally implemented and presented Nuclia-powered search.
Could you please advise how I can still show that my app qualifies for the “RAGS to Riches” point, even if Nuclia access ends after submission? I’d love to share screenshots, original code, or a demo video if that helps clarify my integration.
Thank you so much!
